This post is special one - my first painting process on screen. At start, I didnt really know what to paint. I was tired and completely out of inspiration but, something came out. I hope that "that something" is interesting enough so, here it is.

Painting bellow I started in traditional in "oil on canvas" technique. Its format is around 120x140cm. I wanted to publish it and took few photos but decided to make some touch up in Photoshop. Final output is optimized for A3 on 300dpi that means it can be printed with much bigger dimensions. So here they are with hope you like it.

I am involved in 3D since around 2000 and, for a while now, I am working on my animation short so stuck on in the middle of concepts for it. This is one of the characters I am working on, the one who will be a sort of the riddle guy in this story...

The Lost (Mad Dwarf)

One of my works at the beginning of 2012. Brainstorm of "mad dwarf" in the cold mountain. It was sort of challenge to make this kind of environment and him with just few colors. Alone, above the mist. Lost in icy mountains.... The work is huge, A3 on 400dpi and here is just one 1:1 detail to get a picture of canvas dimms. I hope you like it...

Painting from Macedonian forests

Oil painting on huge canvas! Very dear to me cos I made it in few hours without model, without sketch. Strange brainstorming somewhere in the Macedonian forests back in 1998/99. I used acrylic and knife making hard surface of colors, playing around with shapes. The photo is a bit blurry cos of bad camera but you can get the point I am sure :)

One more drawing I like... made during class at Academy of Fine Arts. The model that students had to draw that day was not interesting enough to me (or I was just lazy, I dont really remember) so I choose this nice silent girl who was sitting in front of me. I used blue and sepia pastels on big rough paper.

Spooky light and contrasts

Spooky light became kind of my obsession so I continued painting with oils and this one is one of my favorites. Painted traditionally with oils on canvas representing ancient warrior on cold rainy night. I really enjoy making this. Simple heroic pyramidal composition with dynamic lightning, strong contrasts...

Tribute to Frank Frazetta, R.I.P.

Frank Frazetta. Who didn't hear about this master of fantasy art??? This drawing is one of my tributes to him and his art style. He was always inspirational for me, showing one of the strongest approach to illustration on traditional way. Man whose artworks were done during one single night... For this drawing I used 0.1 - 0.5 ink pen for fine details on nice A4 paper.

Its simple, small and done with almost empty color pens on some old paper during few, very difficult hours, on the front line...

Greetings everybody,

I last few years I didt want to have blog at all. I though, my web site it is enough and who wants to read or see something about me and my work he can but, I noticed that BLOG is nice way to share things with other people. It seems that BLOG might not be so bad if we avoid boring stuff like I am writing right now so, lets get to the point.
